Yes! You can definitely get a rank between 2000-5000 in JEE Advanced even if previously you had a JEE Main focused mindset and you have just now redirected your focus towards JEE Advanced. See! JEE Advanced and JEE Main don’t have a different syllabus, meaning that if you have prepared well for JEE Main, then you just need to do some extra things to prepare for JEE Advanced.

  1. JEE Advanced needs more conceptual clarity, especially for the multiple correct type questions.
  2. Try practicing more difficult questions from a good book specially designed for JEE Advanced, like Black Book for Mathematics.
  3. Practice different types of questions like multiple correct, integer type, numerical answer type, comprehension based, matrix-match etc-etc.
  4. Maintain a good balance between Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Remember, to qualify in JEE Advanced, you also have to clear the subject-wise cutoff along with the total cut-off.
  5. Study as much as you can in the remaining days with maintaining your health and peace of mind.
  6. Most importantly, do solve at least 10-15 previous year’s JEE Advanced papers. This will help you a lot and that too in many ways.
  7. Keep attempting JEE Advanced level mock tests, analyze your performance and mistakes after the result and improve on them.
  8. Keep a good check on your speed and accuracy. Please avoid committing silly mistakes.
