Important Notes

  1. From 2nd year, you can also take honour courses in Chemical Engineering Department. If you’ll complete all the honour courses, you will get an honour degree in Chemical Engineering.
  2. From 2nd year, you can take minor courses from other departments. There is a recommended credit requirement. If you’ll complete that recommended credit requirement, you will get a minor degree in that.
  3. You can do the 3 Department Electives (DEs) and 2 Institute Electives (IEs) anytime during your college. But generally, people starting taking these electives after the completion of 2nd year. I have mentioned these electives in the respective semesters as per when I did during my college.
  4. You will get to know more about Honours, Minors and Electives in college. So no need to worry.
